Courteney Cox was photographed with 7-year-old daughter Coco at Mr Chow in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday (January 5). The mother-daughter duo stepped out to celebrate David Arquette’s one year of sobriety. Famous siblings Patricia, Alexis, Rosanna and her daughter Zoe Sidel were also in attendance.

Looks like Courteney Cox’ seven-year-old daughter Coco with estranged husband David Arquette might be itching to follow in both mom and dad’s showbiz footsteps. But that doesn’t mean the Friends actress is ready to let her only child rush into the spotlight.

“She does like to perform,” Courteney says. “For Halloween, she dressed up as a dark angel in an outfit with black wings. I’m not nuts about that, but you’ve got to let her do her thing, right?”

The 47-year-old mom says she can’t deny that her kid’s got talent, though. “She does great accents. The other day she called up David and left a message pretending to be Kym Johnson, who was his dancing partner on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and is from Australia. She said, ‘Allo Dye-vid, it’s Kym’. I can’t do accents myself but she does them really well.”

Courteney says she can see influences of both herself and David – who she met when both were filming Scream – in their daughter’s personality. “I see both of us in her. She’s very strong, feisty and independent, and she’s also creative and sensitive. She’s quite quirky and fun.”

It’s been part of the furniture on the hit U.S. comedy Friends since the first show.

Now the iconic orange sofa the stars sat on in the fictional Central Perk coffee shop is for sale.

It is set to fetch between $4,000 and $6,000 when it goes under the hammer next week at the Icons of Hollywood auction in Beverly Hills. Other keepsakes from the sitcom include Courteney Cox’s character Monica’s rocking horse poster, the broken yellow peephole frame on her door and a jar of pickles from the Friends set.

And there’s a snow globe given to the Friends cast members -  Jennifer Aniston, Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer – as a Christmas gift.

Fans of the show, which ran for 10 seasons, can also buy the framed art, by pop artist Burton Morris, that hung on Central Perk’s walls.

Film aficionados will be able to bid for the ruby slippers and Cowardly Lion costume from The Wizard of Oz, the DeLorean sports car from Back to the Future III, Steve McQueen’s Le Mans racing suit and Bela Lugosi’s Dracula cape.

There are also exclusive items from the estates of movie icons Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend has asked Courteney Cox to help him pick out an engagement ring. Jennifer and Justin Theroux have been dating for several months and are blissfully happy.

There has been speculation the two are preparing to tie the knot and Justin is now said to have enlisted Jennifer’s best friend Courteney to assist him.

“He didn’t want to mess it up and Courteney was happy to help. Justin realises she knows Jen inside out and will give him the best advice,” a source told Look magazine.

When Brad Pitt proposed to Jennifer, he presented her with a diamond ring worth over £300,000. Although she grew to love the band, it’s been claimed it wasn’t quite to her taste. Courteney is said to have advised Justin to go down a different path. He’s decided on a ring worth £10,000, which he believes is perfect.

“It’s an exquisite three-carat Asscher-cut diamond ring with a row of smaller diamonds set in a vintage platinum band,” the insider added. “The ring is perfect.”

Justin is already thought to have asked Jennifer’s father John Aniston for her hand in marriage.

“John loves Justin and he would like nothing better than to walk her down the aisle knowing that she’ll be marring him,” the source said.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are “closer than ever” since splitting up.

The former couple – who have a seven-year-old daughter, Coco, together – split last year after 11 years of marriage but the ‘Cougar Town’ actress says they now communicate more so she doesn’t feel alone.

She said: “The great thing is that even though we are separated, David and I are still so close. We’re able to talk through everything that happens, so I know that we’re often both feeling the same way and that makes me feel less alone.
