Some plot spoilers courtesy of Shock Till You Drop have popped up online for the upcoming Scream 4.
Apparently, a test screening was shown to audiences last night in Pennsylvania and a copy of the story synopsis that was handed out to the audience was leaked to the Shock Till You Drop website.
According to the leak, Neve Campbell’s character Sidney Prescott is now an author of a self help book and returns to Woodsboro for the final leg of her book promotion tour.
Sheriff Dewey and Gale Weathers are now married and welcome Sidney with open arms and that’s when all the doo-doo hits the fan.
Scream 4 slashes its way into cinemas on April 15th.
The 2011 Women’s Image Network (WIN) Awards will be honoring some big names come January 18. The WIN organization has presented these honors since 1993, awarding recognition in 13 categories which “create dimensional female media images which shape positive public opinion about the value of women and girls.”
Several well known names have been nominated for the awards, including Susan Sarandon and Maggie Smith for actress in a mini-series, Jane Lynch, Courtney Cox, and Cheryl Hines for actress in a comedy series, and Jada Pinkett Smith and Chloë Sevigny for actress in a dramatic series.
Oscar winner Elizabeth Taylor, is being honored for her “artistic genius and her HIV/AIDS activism” according to Phyllis Stuart, WIN’s founder. The altruistic activist is being given the Living Legend title.
Taylor is no stranger to television, either. Though most today might recognize her for her White Diamonds perfume commercials (filmed many years ago, however), she has done an occasional guest spot on quite a few series over the years as well as having done several TV movies and even the North and South Book II mini-series. The Simpsons fans also boast of her pivotal voicing of Maggie Simpson’s first spoken word.
Full nominations can be found here.
Time for a year-end list. Here are Fitness magazine’s picks for the “best” celeb bods:
Best Age Defiers (a tie):
Courteney Cox, 46, who stays fit with the Tracey Anderson Method, a combination of dance aerobics and toning. And Kathy Griffin, 50. Although the comedienne has turned to diet pills and plastic surgery in the past, Fitness says she has lately stuck with diet and exercise to stay trim.

The creative forces behind this year’s award-winning, critically-acclaimed “Nightmare on Elm Street” retrospective, Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy , is back for more murderous mayhem, this time taking audiences behind the scenes of the suspense-thriller that changed the face of fear forever! Producer/Director Daniel Farrands (Halloween 6, The Girl Next Door, The Haunting in Connecticut) and Producer/Writer Thommy Hutson have reteamed once again to explore everything that made Wes Craven’s postmodern shocker Scream the definitive horror blockbuster of the 1990s.
“After our incredibly successful collaboration on ‘Never Sleep Again,’ we were eager to find another project to work on together,” says Farrands of Hutson and their team at 1428 Films. “Fortunately, we didn’t need to look far. Having had such an incredible experience with Wes Craven and our friends at the BIO Channel on ‘Never Sleep Again,’ and of course with ‘Scream 4′ right around the corner, it made perfect sense for us to explore the beginnings of this landmark horror franchise.” Adds Hutson: “I have always said if I dipped my toe in the retrospective waters again after ‘Never Sleep Again,’ it would be for ‘Scream.’ As a fan of Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson and the entire franchise, I am thrilled to be going behind-the-scenes of a movie that made scaring the hell out of me and the audience a total blast.”
From the genesis of Kevin Williamson’s original “Scary Movie” screenplay to the film’s final gross of nearly $200 million in worldwide box office receipts, SCREAM: THE INSIDE STORY will take fans deeper “behind the screams” than ever before. Featuring rare archival materials and exclusive new interviews with dozens of cast and crew members, this all-new, two-hour retrospective is being produced as part of the acclaimed A&E/Biography Channel series “The Inside Story” which has previously delved into the backstories of Hollywood blockbusters such as “Animal House,” “Caddyshack,” “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Halloween.” Poised to be the definitive look at the 1996 horror film that is said to have single-handedly resurrected a dying genre, SCREAM: THE INSIDE STORY will give fans an insider’s look at why the film, the cast and, of course, the inscrutable “Ghost Face” killer have assumed their rightful place as true icons of modern horror cinema.
So turn out the lights, brush up on the rules of horror movies and get ready to “Scream” all over again!
Over the weekend in Los Angeles, the actress Courteney Cox and her friend Andrea Pett-Joseph, a talent manager, hosted a Rock and Bowl event to raise money for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF). EB is a rare genetic disorder that causes the skin to tear and blister and requires daily wound bandaging. (Ms. Pett-Joseph’s son, Brandon, was born with it.)
This particular bowling party took place in the afternoon at Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, an alley clearly accustomed to a fabulous clientele. Rather than trophies, autographed pins were on display in cases signed by the singer Kelly Clarkson, the actor Gary Oldman (particularly random!), and the comedian Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Hers reads: “I bowled a 71.” It’s hard to know if, against all these celebrity bowlers, 71 is a particularly good score.
“Bowling is more fun than having a fancy dinner somewhere,” said Ms. Cox, who was there with her husband, David Arquette and their 6½-year-old daughter, Coco.
“She’s actually pretty bad at bowling,” Ms. Cox said as she watched Coco step up to the lane. “But it’s not really a fair game because they keep putting up all these guardrails for her. See, it’s hitting the guardrail. Now it’s hitting the other guardrail. If the guardrails weren’t up and it was an even match, I might actually win.”
Josh Hopkins, Ms. Cox’s love interest on “Cougar Town,” wasn’t doing so well in the adjacent lane either, though he appeared to be beating the actor James Marsden. “I never was good,” Mr. Hopkins said of his bowling prowess. “But I’m just going to go ahead and call it rusty.”
It wasn’t just frames and spares; there was also shopping. Old Navy, which sponsored the event, set up a gifting suite. Celebrities and their families could choose from a selection of winter merchandise.
“Do you guys want to go shopping?” a publicist asked actor Skeet Ulrich’s twins Jakob and Naiia. “I’m going to give you these plastic bags and you can get whatever you want.”
“Dad, would you wear one of these sweaters?” Naiia asked Mr. Ulrich, showing him a heavy cable-knit.
Kaley Cuoco of “The Big Bang Theory” was limping around since a horseback riding accident put in her in the hospital and an air cast. She had grabbed dinosaur slippers for a friend’s child—”I wish I could fit my feet into them,” she said—and a pair of penguin pajama pants for herself.
“We love penguins,” she explained. “At least ever since I hallucinated them running around my hospital room.”
Meanwhile, Ms. Pett-Joseph was running around making sure everyone was happy, that her parents were selling enough raffle tickets and that her friends were aware of the holiday card collaboration she has been working on with Tiny Prints and celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner. (Proceeds go to EBMRF.)
Ms. Pett-Joseph said that when it comes to celebrity involvement for her cause, “it’s difficult to ask, but I’m lucky to have clients who tell me I never have to.” She added that she tries to keep her events, which have included picnics and trips to a Led Zeppelin laser light show, family-oriented and on the less expensive side.
“I’d prefer to have you come raise awareness than tell me the next day you couldn’t afford a ticket,” she said, only to be interrupted by actress Allison Janney. “I haven’t had five minutes to bowl.”
Yes!Fantastic news you guys! All of our voting payd off! Courteney has been nominated in the Favorite TV Comedy Actress category for the 2011 People’s Choice Awards! View all nominees here
We just chatted with Cougar Town show runner Kevin Biegel, who assures us fans that current Cougar lovers Jules (Courteney Cox) and Grayson (Josh Hopkins) are “solid,” for now and for a long, long time to come…
“Grayson and Jules are good,” Kevin tells us. “The typical thing to do would be to have things go well for a little bit, then somewhere midway through the season you go, ‘Oh jeez, they are hitting a rough patch!’ and then at the end of the season you say, ‘Oh no, what are we going to do break them up?’
Lucky for us, C.T. is anything but typical!
Explains Cougar Town‘s boss man: “I just like them together as a couple, and like seeing a normal functioning couple on television where every week isn’t one of those episodes [where you think] ‘Is this the episode where they break up? Is this the relationship drama that they wont be able to get over?’ No, it’s a couple, and they fight, they find a common ground, and things get a little more serious week to week.”
Translation: Yippee! Grayson and Jules are here to stay.
“I just enjoy watching those two together,” adds Kevin. “They play up each others’ strengths really well. [I love] having them as a couple but not having every single episode be a couple story, you know what I’m saying?”
10-4. But now the obligatory breakup question. What happens when or if the Cougar Town Powers That Be decide to split the all-mighty Grules (ew!)?
“There are three options,” he laughs. “We either have them just stay together, and we don’t really play it up all the time; we could have them split up and cause a lot of drama; or we could have them get more serious and, to be honest, then split them up because we can’t make this work. That’s not as interesting to me as the other two options because, why not? Jules met a guy, she likes him and maybe this thing will lead someplace next year.”
Jules and Grayson. Successful relationship. More guitar. All good things—especially if they really do span into next season.
Also a good thing: Scrubs‘ Ken Jenkins (Dr. Kelso) reentering the Bill Lawrence realm tonight in Cougar Town‘s Halloween-themed episode as Jules’ countrified dad.
“We knew right away that we wanted him to be her father on the show because Courteney
is playing a Southern girl,” gushes Kevin. “And Ken is a total Southern guy. He’s got an accent, he loves just hanging out playing his guitar in the back of his truck, so it was just perfect. The character is a charming Southern gentleman, and he totally fit in perfectly with the cast.”
“It’s this cool episode about Jules dealing with some issues about her mom passing away, and just connecting with her father,” he says. “It’s actually it is a pretty dramatic episode at the end. Ken carries it with Courteney beautifully. It’s a ridiculously goofy episode for 90 percent of it, and the final 10 percent is ‘Awww…sweet.’ ”
As for the funny, Kevin promises good things: “Any time we can have a story where a father’s telling a daughter he loves her, and then throughout the episode you also have Barb dressed as a pile of hay and Ellie (Christa Miller) and Laurie (Busy Philipps) dressed like each other, that’s a win.”

As we said before, out of respect for both Courteney and David – Chanel and I will not post any rumours, gossip and speculation on their marriage seperation. However,Courteney has just done an interview with TV week about the seperation where she clears up speculation of a divorce, and dating someone new. I felt I should post this to hopefully end any speculation and rumours, and as always nothing further will be posted on this.
Hollywood star Courteney Cox has spoken publicly for the first time about her separation from husband David Arquette to TV WEEK magazine. In a candid and frank interview, the Cougar Town actress reveals the real reason behind the split, as well as how her Friends co-star and best friend Jennifer Aniston has been a huge support during her marriage breakdown.
While David, 39, caused a stir last month when he admitted to Howard Stern on radio that his infidelity was due to not having sex with his wife for four months, Courteney, 46, slammed his comments and put them down to his “kooky” nature.
“I always thought of myself as the greatest wife because I’ll do whatever I want to do and I don’t mean open marriage, that’s not what we had,” she told TV WEEK during an interview in Hollywood to promote Cougar Town over the weekend.
“Sometimes you just realise ‘Wow, we actually have grown apart’. He’s [David] a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern he loves him and I’m a fan of Howard Stern. I don’t know that I would call him right now, but … David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.”
The actress, who is mother to six-year-old daughter Coco, even hinted at reconciliation with David, saying the separation is the most courageous thing she’s ever undertaken.
“I would say the most courageous thing, and this is really personal, but I would say getting separated from someone after so many years of marriage and someone I love so much, just to take a moment and this is a trial separation,” she said. “This is no – I am not – we’re not – I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced. This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage. That’s for sure the biggest thing I’ve ever done. Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”
Having been through separation herself, after divorcing Brad Pitt in 2005, Jennifer Aniston has been supporting Courteney.
“We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great,” Courteney says. “It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don’t know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.” After more than 11 years married to David, Courteney says she’s definitely not jumping into the dating scene just yet.
“I am not doing anything. No dating,” she said. “I hate to go out, so, I don’t know how that would work. I’m a homebody.”
